City vows to promote low carbon economy |

| Chengdu was named one of the Low Carbon Cities in China on Thursday in Beijing at the China Low Carbon Forum. Other cities to win the honor toilet brush include Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Wenzhou and Hohohot. Chengdu was also invited one of the cities of China to the coal competitive. Officials from the city of Chengdu Office said the plastic parts plan forum to promote the economy into a low carbon economy in the city for future growth. Topics of the project include the development of new energy sector and the use of renewable resources, including biogas, heat and waste. As indicated by a proposal in the plan, the municipal government is considering initiating a Program, more people should be encouraged to bike as a means of transport, providing free take-of-charge for local bike rental. |
